False Advertising

Digital Photography

2010-2011

In this body of work, I challenge traditional notions of advertising photography by employing a studio photography approach. Embracing the polished aesthetic characteristic of commercial advertising, I navigate the fine line between artifice and authenticity. Through meticulous composition and controlled lighting, I aim to subvert the conventional expectations associated with this genre, offering a fresh perspective on commercial imagery. This series invites viewers to reconsider the boundaries of advertising photography, exploring the interplay between staged perfection and the potential for deeper, thought-provoking narratives within the seemingly polished veneer of the commercial realm.
